The Team
Dr.Tuba was founded in 2008 by Gigi;), a passionate custom kite builder and designer, who shared a lot of his work on open-source scene in the past (kite-stuff.org). He is still active on kiteforum.com, when time permits...
We started to fix bladders locally with a small, still functioning, impulse sealer and invest all income to establish our brand as a world leader in repair products and gear repairs.
Over the years of development of the brand his wife, Andreja, took CEO position, to help further developing the company.
Not forget to mention our 3 sons, Matej, Tadej & Blaž, enthusiastially helping father with making repairs, pumping the bladders and completing the kits and spares.
The Products
We make large variety of premium kite, wing, tent and other technacal fabrics repair products, to repair canopy & structure, kite valves, custom kite, wing and inflatable tent bladders, kite lines and many other parts.
Our repair kits combines carefully selected components to repair your gear on-site, saving your session or event on-site.
We do the professional gear repairs on latest sewing and welding machines, we always try to color match the product we're repairing.
We design kites, wings and other inflatable products in-house.
Why "Dr.Tuba"?
Name in slovenian languague means "BLADDER". As name suggests we're famous of making best quality & perfomance replacement inflatable bladders.
